In many projects the main limitation is not AGV technology, but poor process data. If locations, statuses and task priorities are not defined clearly, the system will generate more exceptions than value.
Digitization in intralogistics starts from a clean process model: transfer points, task rules, load carrier logic and system ownership. Only then can automation work in a stable and measurable way.
This is why data readiness should be treated as part of the rollout scope, not as a side topic for the IT team alone.
